Weight....27.0 pounds...ouch thats a long way from 22 lbs. especially considering the light engine.

Considering the heavy batteries and plywood root ribs on wings and stabs, I can see this plane at a minimum weight of about 24-25 lbs since this is about the lightest engine that would be capable. I have been able to balance the plane just barely inside the rear limit by mounting all three batteries on the engine box sides.
