      Hello Rocco,

I had a small weather window of opportunity today to finally maiden my Aeroworks 100cc Carbon Cub. Went through final checks on all fastners, ranged checked, fueled her up and gave it a go. By the time it took me to advance the throttle from idle to 1/4 it was already off the ground climbing nicely. I have a DA120 on cans in the beast so 1/4 throttle was fine for the entire maiden. It's a big pussy cat of an airplane though. Flies itself practically. This will be my "breaktime" airplane from aerobatic sorties with my other gassers.

I am very pleased with this airplane! Unmatched Aeroworks quality, looks, and bang for your buck as we've all come to enjoy with an AW product. Highly recommend this airplane if you want to just enjoy the beauty of flight......Very scale and great looking!

Unmatched Aeroworks quality, looks, and bang for your buck!

      Hello Aeroworks,

100cc EXTRA 260 with DA 120 power owned by Gene Bechthold from Williams Lake, B.C., Canada. 60/90 EXTRA 260 with O.S. .91 FS-P four stroke power owned by Al Allman from Vernon, B.C., Canada. Both planes fly GREAT - they will go straight vertical with a VERY short roll on the runway !! Gene's 3D flying is unbelievable to watch with the DA 120 power!!

SIMPLY AWSOME!!

      Hello Aeroworks,

Thanks gang for having the best aircraft out there. I am new to Giant scale and gasser’s. A very good friend told me to get the best so I did my homework and landed at the Aero-works web site. You can not beat the quality for any price anywhere!! I first bought the 50cc 300 Extra. Two evenings of casual building and it was ready to go in the air. The very first flight and I was sold on anything Aero-works. I bought the 30cc Extra 300 at a swap meet for a ridiculously low price. Again two nights and ready to go in the air. The 55cc flies great … but the 30cc makes even me look good!! Never had to trim anything, just fly it. There is no need for coupling doing a knife edge, just a little rudder and she will stay there as long as you want it. Since I built a GP Super Stearman and Aero-works has spoiled me. I am now on the third WEEK of building and going back to the bench for getting the bugs out.

From now on AW all the way or NOTHING!!!

      Hello everyone at Aeroworks,

This past weekend I competed in my first IMAC competition in Maine. I've been flying model airplanes for about 20 years now. I purchased your 60-90 Extra 300 with a DLE-20 last summer and I was so impressed by the quality and flight characteristics that I later purchased your 50cc Edge 540 with DLE-55. I can't tell you enough how well that airplane flies. Flying that airplane finally gave me enough confidence to compete in aerobatics. I entered my first contest and won first place in the Basic class, beating out 6 other competitors. I also scored highest in all of the 9 sequences I flew. I've signed up for 4 more competitions this season in the Northeast Region and I hope my fingers can keep up with the potential this Edge really has. It is a dream to fly!

Great work to everyone at Aeroworks for designing some amazing aircraft!

      Hello Aero-Works staff,

Happy New Year, 2012, what a great start to a new year. I was able to purchase an EXTRA 260 50cc WOW!!!! What a great QB quick build kit I choose the red white and silver with black checkers on the wings and on the sides of the fuse I really like this color scheme and have been flying your YAK 54 with the same colors on it for about a year and is an excellent flying / aerobatic plane. I really love the quick build series that you sale the construction is second to none!! The planes are covered as well as any plane out there! The hardware on both planes is very dependable and (ROCK SOLID). I also would like to thank the Aeroworks team for their many hours of helping me choose the correct planes and accessories for my planes as well as tech tips to make my plane perform at it best while 3-D flying I look forward to this year of flying my two planes and going to fly ins across the southeast.       Hey Rocco, Mark, Kim and all the Aero-Works staff,

I have been flying my new 100cc Ultimate for about one month now, and I have to say this is one sweet airplane. I fly in the unlimited class IMAC. I need Stability, Predictability and most of all Consistency. The Ultimate gives me all of this and has exceeded my expectations. Combined with a DA 120, MTW tuned pipes and a Mejzlik 27-12th three blade, I have a very consistent speed with all the power required of the unlimited maneuvers. I would most certainly own another Aero-Works airplane!! (and I do).

Thanks for a great product!!!!!

      Hello Aeroworks!

I bought the kit of Aero-Works P-51 Mustang ARC in September 23 last year. I have been working with it until August this Year with panel lines and scale details. It is glassed and painted in the colors of Miss Velma who are stationed on Duxford in England. She has been in the air three times and it is very nice to fly. The pictures of the plane are from the first flight. I use a DLE55 engine on this plane. The radio equipment is Futaba 10C and all ten channels are in use. I use a power box and two li-po batteries on the receiver and servos. The CG was just fine when the equipment was mounted. All the finish with scale details and panel lines are made by myself. I have also made all the paint job on this plane. You can see some changes on the tail to make it more scale. The only thing I am going to change is the muffler. I am going to mount the new scale muffler from keleo creation.

The quality and attention to detail on this model is far above any other I have had. Great and Wonderful job!

      Dear Gang at Aeroworks!

Keep up the good work! I have 2 Aeroworks Planes in my hanger, a 50cc Extra 300 QB and a 50cc Sport Cub S2 both converted to Electric and both used for showcasing Hitec Product at Flying Events (as well as flying for pure enjoyment at my local club). Since I work in the hobby industry, I am lucky enough to have access to nearly all the product on the market & I can personally attest to the quality of workmanship, awesome flight characteristics and excellent customer service that Aeroworks delivers. When the Extra or Cub is sitting in the pits or in front of our booth I am proud to say “Yeah, this one is mine. You want to see it fly?”

Thanks for building such sweet planes!

      Hello Aeroworks!

Today was a day that I had been anticipating for the past 5 months. I purchased my Aeroworks Extra 300 100cc QB back in October and began to work on it right away. After flying 30cc and 50cc planes all last year, I decided it was time too step up to a 35% kit. In my experience, there are only two manufacturers of quality kits that I would purchase from. Aeroworks is most definitely on that very short list. With the long winter layover, I was able to work on the plane and have her ready to fly, but weather here in WA state can be quite bad this time of the year. Well Sunday, March 6th was the day. Mind you I haven't been able to fly anything since late October 2010 due to weather and time constraints. Rusty at the controls was I......Or so I thought..... The Aeroworks Extra 300 100cc calmed my shaking hands about a minute into my maiden. Such a smooth flying, very predicable airframe. I was simply amazed at how well this plane flies. I could not get it to drop a wing without wanting it to. Full elevator pullups were perfect..no bad tendancies to snap out unexpectedly. Snap rolls were very pretty, and the smoothness of how she reacts to the controls...WOW..really? The bigger the plane, the better they fly. That’s all I have to say about that! Landings...easy as pie. I had a nice crosswind present at the field. The plane crabs effortlessly into the wind, and just a touch of rudder straightened the nose out for landing...slight flair, ground effect..picture perfect. I am so going to get a lot of stick time on her this flying season. OH and I have to add. The Red/white/black trim scheme is very discernable in the air. The bottom wing colors and patterns are very visible. I don't see any issues at all with not being able to tell orientation and I've seen some very bad trim schemes on other manufacturers planes that present themselves as black in the air. Not this bird!
Get yourself one. You will not be disappointed!

I LOVE THIS PLANE!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks!

I wanted to share my past and current fleet of Aeroworks aircraft. I have owned several other brands of aircraft and I must say that Aeroworks is still number one on my list. The quality, fit, finish and above all customer service make them the best choice in my book. Rocco is always looking to improve his products, looks for innovative ways to make his products stand above the competition, and most importantly takes care of his customers. I will continue to be a proud Aeroworks customer for a long time to come as I know Rocco is passionate about what he does. It shows in his products. Thank you Rocco and the rest of the AW team!

Best choice in my book!

Hello Jeff and all of Aeroworks!

Aeroworks Enclosed are pictures of your 100cc AeroWorks Yak 54 and Super Decathlon I Fly. It is powered by a DA 100. And I use a TME smoke system. The aircraft is mainly flown at Air shows. I do a routine to music. The Yak is a large stable platform. With blue sky and smoke it is hard to tell it from the full size stuff at the Air shows!! I enjoy flying your products.

Keep up the great products and service!

      Dear Aeroworks!

I wanted to thank you for an awesome plane. The Yak 54 50cc QB. I have been flying RC planes and helicopters since 1982 and have to say your planes are an industry leader. This ARF went together without any discrepancies. Everything fit together like a glove, the hardware is top quality, and she flies like on rails. Only needed one notch of elevator and one of aileron. The construction is light and strong, with excellent craftsmanship. This is my third plane from your company and this will not be the last. Thanks so much for doing a great job and providing us with such great quality products and customer service.

      Hi Aero-Works magicians!

I'm the second owner of the lovely Silver/Red/Black trimmed Extra 300LP 50cc plane. Having purchased it receiver ready, it sure didn't take me long to get this beauty airborne. What a fantastic flying aircraft! I can compare it directly with many different manufacturers and I have to say the Extra 300LP just outperforms those other 50cc kits that I have in my hanger right now. Just purchaed my second AW kit, this time being a 100cc Extra 300!

Thanks for creating such wonderful, well designed QB ARF's!

Hey guys, here are some pictures of my new 100cc Edge 540 QB.

Once again I found the workmanship and quality of this plane to be outstanding. Absolutely everything that was needed to complete this model, excluding the radio and engine, was there. The only thing I had to provide was the glue used to hinge the rudder. The plane is a great flyer, and I cannot say enough good about it.

Kudos to you guys!

My name is Casey and I have been flying for 7 years now. My brother got me into this hobby. I have done allot of things in my life and I will say that, this is the most fun Hobby I have ever had and I am hooked on it!… (I can't get enough of it just Ask my wife) Also, Aeroworks makes a good solid airplane and I love the color schemes that they have to offer. That's way I continue to buy their products.

Keep up the great work.....Happy flying!

      Hello Aeroworks,

I just wanted to let the staff at Aeroworks know how happy I am with my Pitts Python. I was all set to order the Python when a club member told me to get a GoldWing Pitts, well going against my judgment I did. After 8 easy flights the top wing started to get cracks where the wing panels joined on the carbon fiber wing tube. Instead of fixing it and flying a plane I didn't trust I got the Aeroworks Python. I couldn't be happier with how the plane flies. Harriers have very little wing rock and it basically hovers hands off.

Thanks for the AWSOME Plane!

      Hello Aeroworks,

I have been flying my new S2 Sport Cub for the past few months and it is a crowd pleaser every time I take it to the field to fly. I have powered my cub with a DLE 55 using the custom J Tec Pitts muffler and I also bought the custom spinner that matches the color of the red on the cowl perfectly. The cub is simple a joy to fly and looks very scale in the air. One of the best things about being an Aeroworks owner is the customer support that comes along with every plane you buy.

Thanks for a great Plane!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks,

The first time I saw the Aeroworks Cessna 195 I knew I had to have one! All my other projects went on the back burner as the big brown box sitting in the work shop just had to be started. The plane was packed very well and was in perfect order. I grabbed the build CD Manuel and popped it in the computer. Wow is all I can say about the Manuel the most comprehensive Manuel I have ever read. Every step is mapped out for you. The airframe went together very well. It was a nice change to use all the hardware that comes with the plane, instead of going to the local hobby shop for hardware that you can trust. The down load on the web page that shows the installation of the rear mount carb DLE 30cc was very helpful. The madden flight went very well. The plane takes off well with 10 to 15 deg of flaps or none if you have the runway length. The Cessna is a rock solid performer in the air. The Cessna is capable of standard aerobatics that the full scale plane would be able to perform. The landing was very straight forward and with full flaps there was no tendency for excessive climb. The Cessna locks into the glide path very well but It is a very scale plane so you have to come in with a little throttle. Fly it all the way to the ground.

Anyone looking for a quality scale civilian plane THIS IS IT!

      Hello Rocco,

I wanted to write and thank you and your team for a great build of the P-51 Mustang. The kit packaging was beyond anything I have ever gotten, the plane arrived in mint condition, and everything was there that I needed for a successful project build.

Your plans covered all of the questions I had and made for a quick build. I have never built a plane that had the retracts, valves and sequencer already installed. This save me an enormous amount of time on installation and setup. Since the rudder was not pre-installed, I decided to keep the blue nose scheme but add my own individual touches.

The finished plane looks great on the ground and flies like a pattern bird in the air. As you know, I displayed my Mustang at the Warbirds Over The Rockies. It was great to have it out there. I got a lot of compliments and answered a lot of questions. The icing on the cake was when Jason Noll flew it for me.

Thanks again for the great product, great build and great flying aircraft!

      Hello Rocco,

Debuted the first 150cc Extra 300 yesterday; first flight only needed one click of right aileron. Here are a few still shots of the first flights. AGAIN!!!! You have done a fabulous job I didn't think you could one up the Extra 260 but you have done it with the 300. Really like the upgrades in the wheels, larger axels, beefed up carbon fiber gear, and lower parts count. It's awesome!!

      Aeroworks,

Thanks so much for making a great model. The last two days have been filled with flying fun of fun fly style flying full of hovering, knife edge maneuvers and simply using up every inch of the sky. The model flies knife edge great and many knife edge maneuvers such as knife edge loops and knife edge figure-8's can be flown with the left stick only. The airplane has a thick airfoil that allows for very slow fun fly type flying that can include stationary or backwards landings in just the lightest amount of wind. Also for field readiness, the 1/4 turn nylon screws for the removable hatches are just a great touch that allow two-second quick opening and closing.

Thanks so much for making a great model!

      Hello Rocco,

Anyone who has heard the familiar roar of a real P-51 Mustang will remember that sound forever. Likewise the P-51 has earned a special place in aviation history. I will have to say, Aeroworks has done a remarkable job of giving us in the RC world a chance to enjoy the "Mustang". It flies like it is on rails. Take offs and landings are predictable and stable. None of that dreaded "scale plane feel". I am very lucky to have a friend, Sgt. Pat Buzzeo, who was a Crew Chief for P-51s in England, during WWII. He is now nearly 90 years old, and still flies RC airplanes, often showing us younger guys how it is supposed to be done. His pilot in England was Capt. Jesse Frey, who is still alive also. At the time he was in a band that used the song Ain't Misbehavin' as their theme song. So it only made sense to call their airplane Ain't Misbehavin'. It is in their honor that I chose to change the looks of the Aeroworks P-51 into Ain't Misbehavin'. Now I believe it looks as good as it flies.

Remarkable....Thanks Aeroworks for such a good airplane!

Special Thanks to badbradgraphics.com for the great Graphics.

      Rocco,

As a reviewer, I have an opportunity to fly a lot of new airplanes, and due to limited space at my house, most of them have to move on to new owners within months of the reviews publishing. In the case of the P-51, it is absolutely a keeper!

From the very first flight...the locked-in feel, incredible stability at any speed, excellent looks and top speed, plus low speed and landing characteristics all proved that this airplane literally has no bad habits!

Running the DA-50 with a Mejzlik 20X12 carbon prop, the Mustang consistently delivers 120-123 MPH, but pull the throttle back and go to full flaps, and it will slow down to a crawl and land easily on the shortest of airfields.

My last trip to the field was in very windy conditions, which kept many other Warbirds on the ground, but I was able to fly the AeroWorks P-51 with total confidence due to the stability, excellent flight characteristics and robust landing gear.
AeroWorks - I hope this is the first of many new offerings to your line-up in addition to the excellent aerobatic models!

Absolute keeper!

      Rocco,

I have been building and flying for 35 plus years and I finally decided to go Giant Scale. Since work has taken over my building time I had a plane custom built based on the builders recommendation. I was excited as a kid with a new puppy and off to field we went with my New 50CC Yak 54 QB. On the third flight on take off roll the plane did a violent right turn and left the runway with the motor running full song. The plane did a couple of 360 end over end and came to rest. With a heavy heart I went to get my new baby and prepared myself for the worst. To say the toughness of this plane is outstanding is an understatement. Two small cracks in the inner side panels a crushed front pipe tunnel cover and a landing gear bent 4 inches to rear that was all the damage to airframe. The landing gear mount was as solid as the day it was built. My DA however required a major overhaul as the crank was bent 5mm and the rod was destroyed. Some new parts from Aeroworks, new rudder servo (This was the cause of the crash) and a motor rebuild later I can say without a doubt this the finest airplane I have had the pleasure of flying. The build quality speaks for itself and I would recommend this plane to anybody who asked.

Keep up the good work I am completely satisfied and happy customer!

      Hi Rocco,

“It’s great to see scale models emerge from Aeroworks in addition to all of their great aerobatic airplanes. As I expected, the Sport Cub S2 is an extremely nice airplane with an excellent set of components and super flying characteristics. You can be confident that an Aeroworks airplane will fly well from the first flight without any surprises. I’ve flown a lot of quarter and third scale Cubs. This one with its great looks, graceful aerobatics and gas engine has quickly become a favorite. Loving Cubs as I do, I had to have the yellow version. If that’s not your cup-of-tea a red and white one is available.

Great looks, graceful aerobatics and gas engine has quickly made this Cub S2 my favorite!

      Hi Rocco and Staff,

Well, what can I say? The Aero-Works Sport Cub S2 ARF-QB is my new favorite bird! What a joy it was to build and it flies like a dream. The Sport Cub S2 gets as much attention on the ground as it does in the air due to its scale appearance and great lines. My Dad and I are planning on towing 10lb rc sailplanes with it and we are sure the Cub and DA-50 combo will be perfect.

Thank you for offering such a great plane and keep up the great work!

      Hi Rocco,

I just got my new AW 100cc Extra 300and I am done putting it all together. This airplane is impressive by size, one of the biggest in its class. Equipped it with a monstrous 3w-110iB2 and an EQ6 Smart-fly, with a PT Model 28-10 Prop, Hitec 7955's, 7954, 7985 and a Sullivan Smoke pump.
The building was done for less then 2 weeks, very smooth, everything's just fits in place without any issues. The motor mounting plates really makes it easy to mount on the plane. You also get 3 Carbon tubes for stabs and wings - strong and light!! The provided hardware is high quality and do not need any replacements.
Flying is really great, it does everything with ease, 3D and IMAC. A small trim is needed. I had a Yak54 before this Extra and I thought the Extra won't rolling harrier as good as the yak did, but I was wrong!!

Thanks you Aero-Works for this beautiful plane!

      Hi Rocco,

Just wanted to say thanks for this awesome flying model. The assembly of the 100cc Extra 300 QB was straightforward and easy. The model build and finish is top notch. The hardware included is top quality. And the instruction manual is very clear and simple, no detail was forgotten.

I put about 25 flights on it this past weekend and it flew great. Very little mixing was necessary. I'm flying it on a DA 85 and RE3 pipe spinning a Mejzlik 26 x 10. Using all JR servos and a JR 12x for control. Looking forward to many more flights and IMAC contests with this model.

Two thumbs up to you and your staff at Aeroworks!

Hi Rocco and all at Aeroworks,

I wanted to send in a picture and description of my electrified .40 size Edge 540T.

The power system is as follows:

Turnigy AerodriveXP SK series 42-40 750Kv motor
Zippy Flightmax 5000mAh 4S1P 15c battery pack
Generic 60A ESC
Turnigy 5A SBEC
14x6 prop

With this setup it weighs just a smidge over 6 lbs and the power system delivers 600w, so I am right at 100watts/lb. which is what I was aiming at. With the battery pack mounted right behind the firewall I didn't have to add any weight. I actually use the muffler relief channel (fiberglass piece removed) for inserting the battery pack so I don't have to remove the wing. Amp draw with this prop is around 40 amps, so I am not stressing the pack, ESC, or motor at all.

Now for the fun stuff. First flight was this past Memorial Day at Mile Hi. The best way to describe it is to say that I still have the big smile on my face 4 days later! The power system was all that I had hoped for and the plane flew fantastic. Not having flown this type of plane before (I normally fly my Aeroworks SU-31 electric or foamies of less than 1 lb.) I was a little nervous, but that quickly disappeared. The 540 tracks beautifully and is a real hoot to fly. I had always thought that these aerobatic planes looked like they landed at a very high speed (compared to what I was used to), but once I had it lined up with the runway and the attitude set, it practically landed itself.

If there is a down side to this it is that: A) I can't wait for the weekend to come so I can fly it again, and B) Now I'll feel compelled to take it with me every time I go to the field!

Thanks for such a great plane!

      Dear Rocco,

Attached are a couple of PICS of my AeroWorks 100cc Stars and Strips Yak 54 QB. I have flown the snot out of this puppy and it looks as good as the day I first pulled it out of the box 15 months ago. It has over 100 flights on it now and my only problem so far is keeping people from drooling all over it while I'm at the field, and yes those are still the original wheel pants and I fly off a grass field. Thanks again for making such a great product that can be counted on time and time again. I look forward to flying more of your products in the future.......that is if this one ever wears out LOL.

Dear Rocco and all the great staff at Aeroworks,

I have been flying my Aeroworks 75cc Extra 260 QB with a DA85 on a MTW canister for two years now, with well over 100 flights without incident. I have read about the DA85 delivering some heavy vibes to any airframe. I can tell you that I’ve been flying my AW Extra hard and it excels with 3D aerobatics. With just a slight CG change you can fly IMAC as well as wild 3D. This airplane is built very well and has held up to anything I can throw at it along with the incredible power delivered by the DA85. As with any airplane; the pilot is responsible for the maintenance and must post a vigilante watch on his airframe. The great people at Aeroworks make this task easy by offering far superior aircraft. IMHO; “have no fear putting in a DA85 into any Aeroworks aircraft”. “They are well built to handle this motor just fine”.

Superior Aircraft...Over 100 flights without incident!
Thanks again AW!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks Staff,

Aeroworks has definitely hit another home run with this one! The 100cc Edge 540 QB is one of if not the nicest looking plane I have ever had. Construction and design are first rate giving a fast and easy assembly resulting in a strong and true airframe. All of the hardware was first rate as always and is the best hardware I have used that is included with the kit. I dressed the Edge up with Aeroworks accessories such as the dash panel, pilot and graphics package. Keep up the great work guys and I am looking forward to my 150cc Extra 300 when it gets released this summer.

Aeroworks has defiantly hit another home run with this one!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks,

Few years back I had my first AW plane a Pitts Python. It was the best 50cc I ever tried. After a crash I have tried several different planes. Also a couple of other very well known brands. But I missed the AW quality and the way it flies. We bought a 50cc AW Edge 540 and it was in the air in record time. Awesome plane! I'm glad I did what Jason Noll told me. Best quality ever! I'm so happy about it so I bought an AW ultimate too. Its ready for its maiden now!

Best quality ever I'm looking forward to every flight!

      Rocco and AW team,

The Cessna 195 is my first Aero-Works plane. I have assembled numerous planes over the years and can truly say that the Aero-Works QB ARF's are by far the best I have ever seen. They are in a class of their own. When Aero-Works announced that they were going to produce the Cessna 195, I was on the pre-order list. I love the vintage planes. I received the plane in perfect shape. The packaging was superb. The assembly is so straight forward with excellent instruction's on the website and an included DVD. The plane was a joy to assemble. Aero-Works support is the best. The few minor problems were handled promptly and to my satisfaction. The plane flies great. It is rock solid in all maneuvers and turns heads at the flying field. I am sure there will be more Aero-Works planes in my future.

Thanks for a great model. Keep them coming.!

      Guys,

I have finished the 50cc Ultimate in record time for me and from the date the ARF hitting the ground till it was ready to fly was 13 days part time. This is the best ARF I have assembled to date and definitely a QB for me.

Best ARF “Definitely”!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks,

I took my first flight on my 75 cc Extra 260 today. As usual, it flew great with very little trimming needed. This is my third plane from AeroWorks. My 50cc Python and the 50cc yak are still going strong. They always bring a smile to my face. I truly appreciate the way that all the people associated with AeroWorks have helped me in the past and the fine quality of your products from the planes, down to the wing bags. Here are some pictures of the Extra.

      Hello Rocco,

Thought I'd let you know how pleased I am with your 50cc Extra 300 QB. I've got a handful of flights on it now and I believe I made the right choice for getting started in IMAC competition this year.

The whole kit went together very quickly and I'm still amazed on how little glue I had to use on a plane of this size. Just about everything bolts together - and quickly! Having built a LOT of planes over the years for personal use and in my job working with Model Aviation magazine, I have to mention how great the included hardware was. Usually that’s the first thing I throw out, but in the case of this kit, I didn't substitute a single part. And the fact that it's all American threads made it even better.

I also loved the inclusion of the engine-mount templates, the canister mounts and the extra goodies you normally have to buy separately; throw gauge, zip-ties, fuel-dots, etc.

I'm using a MT-57 for power, JR/Spektrum system for control and a Quest/Smart-Fly fiber-optic ignition cut-off system. I've still got a bit before the engine is broken in and I still need to a bit of fine tuning, but I am extremely pleased.

Keep up the great work!

      Hello Sandy and AW Team,

Having built and flown allot of different ARF's in the past years I have had the opportunity to build and fly several Aeroworks aircraft. I have followed this Ultimate design from the original by Chip Hyde to Jason Noll based design. The QB style ARF in my opinion is the ultimate in ARF packaging making the decision to purchase this aircraft a no brainer.

Building the Ultimate was a delight; no guesswork involved, combined with a great manual you really can't go wrong with this one. I modified mine a little bit because I am using a 3W 50 TOC motor, which is a shorter stroke than the DA. Notching the firewall to clear the muffler and everything else fit like a glove. Custom built a dash out of cherry wood veneer and stained it. The plane flies with a defined grace that only an Ultimate can achieve flip the rate switch and you have a 3D monster. I have a small shop and I custom build and paint model airplanes for the general public. And when they ask what I should buy for my next model Aeroworks is the first word from the tip of my tongue.

Keep up the good work!

      Aeroworks Gang,

Just finished your 50cc P51. I always marvel at the quality of your airplanes of which I have built no less than 12 of them. The P51 has to be the cream of the crop. I liked it so much, I ordered another one of them online this evening. Just hope UPS gets it here without breaking something. I don't have time to come to Denver and pick it up like I usually do. This aircraft has to be the "Rolex" of the RC Model World. Thank all of you for your efforts in design and also in your customer service. All of your aircraft outclass anything else available in the RC market.

      Hi Rocco and Aeroworks,

This is my second Aeroworks plane, I have more than 15 years flying, I just have 3 years on gas aerobatic planes. Your line is very complete, they are very well built and their flight characteristics are excellent. The other one was Extra 260 50cc with DA-50 and KS86 canister, It also flew very well.
This plane was built very easy and quickly. I just had to modify the firewall to use my 3w48-B2 engine. This plane uses JR 9303 radio, Hitec 5645 servos and the performance is incredible. I used to fly one AW 50cc Extra 260 with DA-50 and even though this plane is smaller the performance is very close.
I flew it 3 times in the maiden day, very relaxing flights, it will be my every day plane, easy to transport and a pleasure to fly. These are some pictures taken the first day in Tangamanga Park runway, one of the best in town.

Fast and Easy Build with Excellent flight performance!

      Dear Aeroworks,

I just wanted to let you know how much I like my new P-51 Mustang QB. I put in a OS MAX BGX-1 Glow engine, as I don’t have any gas engines. The OS MAX (35cc Glow) has plenty of power. I am using both a 20x10 and 20x8 propeller depending on how fast I want the plane to go. The plane balanced with NO weight added to the nose. It has a very short take off roll and and comes in very slowly even with no flaps deployed. The plane has NO bad habits. I finished mine in 15 hours. My field is a WWII fighter base (Naval Air Station- Puunene) so the Mustang P-51 is right at home in Maui. Thanks again for an excellent plane!

The quality is AMAZING and so is the flight performance!

      Hey Aeroworks,

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know I got some new and improved life out of my 2 year old 75cc Yak 54. It always would tip stall on me when I would enter into the high alpha. I never did figure out why until about 3 months ago when I decided to take it back out and figure out what was wrong. It turned out I had a bum servo on one of the elevators. It didn't come up as fast as the other and I guess that gave me a snap effect instead.

Once I figure that out I flew it into the high alpha gently and would do just fine. The one thing I did notice what its ability to almost lock into a hover. I hovered it a bit too long and ran out of fuel while in a hover about 20-30' up. It ended up flat on its gear with only moderate damage to the firewall as the engine tore off and through the cowling.
Well I ended up taking all the covering off to closely inspect for damage and only have one cross brace loose and a few formers inside up around the engine box. Well its all repaired with the two new 7955 in the tail now for the elevators and also re-located the rudder servos in the tail too as a push/pull, and what a dream she now is to fly. Ended up doing a new color layout, as I like the more simple lines.

Dream Machine!

      Dear Aeroworks,

I would like to thank you for such a great product. I have the new Extra 300 QB 50cc in the Yellow and Blue scheme. Build time was very short and oh so simple. I have owned many aircraft from many different manufacturers, and I have to admit this to be the best plane in my hangar. The Extra 300 is very stable in flight and fully capable of IMAC and 3-D flight. My plane has a DL-50 and provides plenty of power. I couldn't imagine its performance with the lightweight 55cc or 65 cc gas engines. HOLY COW!!!!!!
Anyway, Thanks to everyone at AEROWORKS for their great and informative help. Blue Skies!

      Dear Rocco,

Been flying my 100cc edge 540 now for two weeks, everyday and it is the most fantastic experience. Wonderful and Beautiful airplane. Literally blew everyone’s mind this afternoon with 200 ft loops and vertical rolls out of sight. Huge square loops and basically anything I can think of. Let alone pinning my IMAC sequence. Thank you for everything from the great shipping container and packaging to a wonder fit and finish. Everything was a perfect fit and took only two days to have a world-class aerobatic plane. I have been in the hobby 50 years and this tops it all! Somebody can have all my other stuff because I will be flying your aircraft from now on. Thanks to Wes and Marie for turning me onto aero-works.

      Rocco and Aeroworks Staff,

Thank you again Aeroworks for bringing such high quality models to market. This 100cc Extra 300 is the fourth Aeroworks plane in my hanger and the fifth is almost finished (100cc Edge). All of the planes have been very fast to assemble and the quality of the hardware is truly fantastic. The little things like extra covering, precut hinge gap material, motor mounts, etc. make a big difference to me. No need to out and buy whole rolls or go shopping for these and other things, as they are all included. There has been a lot of thought put into these planes and it shows not only in the quality, but in how they look and perform, and oh how they perform!

Keep them coming!!!

      Dear Aeroworks,

I wanted to email you and thank you for producing such a fun airplane for me to fly. The Aeroworks Electric-Profile Extra 260 is such a fun and easy airplane for me to fly. All the guys at the R/C field are jealous that I can fly so well, little do they know how good the profile-extra makes me look. This is also one very strong airplane as I have had my share of 'not so perfect' landings. This is a great beginner airplane and I am now learning to do more advanced aerobatics too. Thank you very much".

      Hi Rocco and Mark,

This year we purchased our first Aeroworks 150cc Yak 54 back in February of 2009. The plane went together beautifully and after working a little bit with the trimming it has flown like a dream. The airplane flies like it's on rails. I have a Kroma 180 with Pefa cans and it has been a perfect match. Mark was a great help since the beginning. Melissa and I met him at the NATS, what a great person. We also purchased privately another Yak 150 in the box with the original scheme. Hope to have it going by Christmas 09.

Our Yak has helped us win some nice hardware this year.

Hi Rocco, Mark and Aeroworks Gang,

I want to thank you for making such a great product and having such amazing customer service. I have flown many different brands of airplanes and no one even comes close to the quality of Aeroworks. It is a pleasure building your QB line of aircraft. Everything fits perfectly and I have never had to modify a thing. I just follow the manual exactly and I have never had any problems! Two years ago I purchased my first Aeroworks plane which was the 50cc Extra 260. Since then I have purchased and built the 35% Extra 260, and 2 - 42% Ultimate 20-300. Aeroworks has such a high quality product that is very light but strong. I would recommend Aeroworks to anybody whether you are just starting out in the hobby or have been flying for years! I also want to say thank you to Mark Dennis for giving me such great customer service and technical support. The knowledge that Mark has given me is priceless! Thank you Rocco and Mark again and I look forward to doing business with you in the near future.

      Hello Aeroworks,

I have been an Aeroworks customer for about 10 years. That in itself should say something about the company. Rocco has told me that he tries to make all new releases better than previous models. This is my first venture into a 40+% size plane and I am not disappointed. The assembly was straightforward with no surprises. I am constantly amazed at the quality of your QB arf's. I am taking my time getting used to this size plane but I really feel at ease flying it. I am still going thru the trimming and getting it set up as I like to fly and although I know it is going to take a little mixing for knife edge I have to emphasize that I do mean a little (1 or 2 degrees in Rudder to Elevator and about the same in Rudder to Aileron), that is nothing on a plane this size. Aeroworks has produced a model that anyone would be proud to have in their hanger, I know I am.

Keep up the GREAT work and I cant imagine where you will go from here!

      Hey Guys,

You have outdone yourselves (Again!) with the 50cc Edge 540! This is the greatest looking, flying, building plane that I have ever seen. As I mentioned on RCU, I swear if you unwrap everything, and leave it alone for a few days, it will just build itself (like you can leave it alone for even a minute!). This is the 9th Aeroworks plane, in my hanger, and I mean it when I say "they just keep gettin' better!" I don't know what you guys are planning for the future, but unless you find a way to pre-program all the hardest flight maneuvers, I don't know how you can make these any better?
I would also like to thank you for providing, not only the most complete set of SAE hardware that I've ever seen, but also all of the peripherals such as motor mounting templates, exhaust fixtures/options, extra servo trays, the "CG Buddy"(my wife appreciates not having her finger tip smashed), clear coating for the hinges, and most of all, the extra coatings for the little "touch-ups" that we all have to deal with!!! I hate trying to match up colors for a 1" tear!!! You guys have truly/repeatedly earned your title "World Class Aircraft".

Please keep up the good work!

Rocco (and, of course, all of your fine team at Aeroworks)!

I just got back from a couple of flights with the 50cc Extra 300 that I got from you a few months ago and had to write a letter of thanks to you all. This plane is such a joy to fly and it has made me a better pilot even in the short amount of time that I’ve had it. The flight performance of the Extra is solid, predictable, and confidence inspiring. It always seems to make it look like I know what I’m doing. Truth is, though, I don’t always know what I’m doing so that’s one more thing that I appreciate - it’s extremely durability. I’ve had a couple of brushes with terra-firma that would of destroyed most models (one dead stick, and one case of pilot “over-confidence”) but both times I was able to repair what minor damage there was and it still flies as true as ever. Even with a couple of battle scars, it’s still one of the best-looking planes at the field and always draws a crowd. So, thanks for designing such a fantastic plane and please keep ‘em rolling out. I haven’t had as much time as I would like to indulge in our great hobby lately and it’s been a real joy to have this Extra 300 in the shop ready to go at a moment’s notice. I always look forward to the times that I can sneak out for a couple of hours and put as much gas as I can through this yellow beauty.
Thanks for all that you do!

This isn’t my first Aero-works plane and it certainly won’t be the last!

      Hello Aeroworks!

Having tested allot of different ARF's in the past years I have never had the opportunity to build and fly an AeroWorks, mainly because of the somewhat higher price tag that these airplanes have in our country. Well, having seen Jason Noll joining the AeroWorks team and him having a say in the design of the new Ultimate the choice was easy really, I wanted one..

Building the Ultimate was a pleasure; no guesswork involved, combined with a great manual you really can't go wrong with this one. Seeing that I had to modify mine a little bit because I am using an canister the build took a little bit longer than one normally would.

So on to the flying, what I have discovered is that this airplane is a little bit more critical on CG compared to its monoplane siblings. I would say that you should not go behind the recommended CG in the manual if you want a plane that tracks great. For all out 3d flying, sure you can move it back a little bit but the flying characteristics will suffer. So staying on the correct CG this plane is really allot of fun to fly, it tracks really well and is really nice to look at as well. I have had a lot of comments on how nice it looks at the field... If I could only say one negative thing about the kit I would say that they really should include a pilot bust and the instrument panel, the kit is really complete but leaving those things out just does not make sense to me, its an AeroWorks QB after all!

The choice was easy.....I Wanted One!

      Thank You Rocco!

I am enjoying my new Aeroworks 100cc Extra 300. I must say that all your Aircraft just keep getting better and better. Your entire Q.B. Product line is to be praised. Your Aircraft have allowed me to take my flying skills to the next level. I now own four in your Q.B. line up and this 100cc Extra is by far the finest yet. I truly enjoyed installing all of the components’ in this Airframe. The amount of Forethought and Engineering was extremely apparent during this process. In addition, the flying characteristics of this Airplane are completely off the Charts! She can go from Wild 3D to Mild I.M.A.C. with the flip of a switch. If I could only own one Airplane, this one would be it!

Hi, Rocco and the Aeroworks Crew,

I wanted to take a few minutes and congratulate you on a great flying airplane and an outstanding ARF. Having flown in three Las Vegas TOCs and having the pleasure of working as Contest Director as well for 10 years I had first hand experience flying against or watching many competitors flying Aeroworks designed planes. I was always impressed with the solid flying characteristics and great looks of the Aeroworks planes. Spin forward eight years and I no longer compete but really enjoy flying aerobatic airplanes for fun. I have switched almost exclusively to electric powered planes and was in the market for a .60 size aerobat that I could leave together in the back of my truck and quickly get in the air once I was at the flying field. I came across the 60-90 Yak 54 QB on your website and knew I’d found what I was a looking for. From the time it arrived on my door step until this day I’ve been impressed. It went together without a hitch. Since its electric capable out of the box, little time was spent getting the electric power system going. The instructions are fantastic and the included hardware was top notch. The most important aspect of any plane is its flying characteristics and the YAK 54 did not disappoint.

Solid flying, great looks and outstanding flight characteristics. Keep up the great work!

      Dear Rocco,

I test flew my New thirty three percent 85cc Yak 54 QB last Saturday and it flies GREAT a very impressive Airplane. I am sending you another picture as I wanted to explain that I have a DA 85 in it and a tuned pipe, MTW, RE3, really brings it to life. I am still getting use to the Airplane but did some knife edge flying and found no correction necessary for true tracking. I also did a little 3D flying and found it to be very stable in the harrier and even a hover but, did not do this too long as my Engine is new and needs break in so did not want to over heat it. Aero-Works has come up with another beautiful Airplane that really performs and flies very light. I had to dead stick it a couple of times but was truly amazed at how this big bird glides and floats in very nicely. I cannot wait to take it out again as it is one of the best. Thanks again Aero-Works for a great Airplane, a truly quality product. Sincerely Yours Robert J. Murdock

      All at AeroWorks,

Attached are the pics of the 50cc Pitts Python QB Smoke On. I promised to get this to you a long time ago but due to work conditions here in MI I now have the proof of flight. The DA-50 swinging a XOAR 22X8 prop is the best combination for this plane. I have used Zinger props without the same effect. I have the Slim Line smoke muffler and Show Time pump with battery. As you can see from the pics the smoke system is great. I am using a Spectrum DX7 radio and Hi Tech 5645MG servo's all the way around. The servo's are perfect for this application with ample torque.

All I needed was 2 clicks of down trim as everything else was neutral and didn't even have to touch them. Never had a plane do that before. Hands off inverted flight, four points, and hanging on the prop were excellent. Snap rolls clean and crisp, loops, avalanche, and just pushed it to the limits. Just Wow!! Landings were a walk in the park, nice and slowed downed great for a greaser. High alpha slow flight with a slight wing wobble but held it's own without breaking. What more can I say but the best Bipe I have flown in years. Then again I had put in a trust worthy DA-50 engine in the nose and right prop combination. I am using Amsoil at 50 to one until fully broken in as I now have 20 flights on this Pitts.

Wow!!…Best Bipe I have flown in years.

I flew my new 150cc Yak QB last weekend and it went real well. I only got 2 short flights on it but it felt rock solid. The plane went up and down perfectly straight, it rolls awesome and will require no mixing on knife edge, if I keep the CG where I currently have it. I hope to start working things out a little more this weekend and start playing with some 3D stuff. The plane got a lot of compliments out at our field, everyone thought it looked great!

Here is how I set it up;
DA 170 on Greves pipes
JR 12X 2.4DSM
8711’s 1 each elevator, 2 each aileron 2 on rudder, 8611A on throttle
Fromeco A123 Batts
Fromeco switches
Smart Fly Power expander
Mejzlik Spinner and 32x10 prop
TME smoke pump

Rock Solid!

      Dear Aeroworks,

I just wanted to drop you guys a line and say, WOW !!!!!

I Purchased an 60-90 Extra 260 QB from you last year and from the get-go I was wanting to go electric, and that is what I did. I cannot say enough good things about the feel and response of this Aircraft. I have owned several planes from you before, however this one I must say is the nicest so far! I am running it on a 10S setup with a Hacker A60-16L, and a 24x12 APC prop. The flight times, and performance is amazing. I will soon be going to a 12S setup on the bird and, well.... May the Grin get even bigger!

Thank you for designing a GREAT PLANE !!!!!

      Hello Mark and Rocco,

Good news........I flew my 85cc Yak yesterday for the first time and had a very successful day of flying. The airplane was very smooth and graceful in the air, and would go from "mild" to "wild" with 3D rates and power. The Greves pipe gives the DA85 motor tremendous power and gives it a cool sound in the air. For me, this Yak is the best airplane I have ever owned. I'm anxious to meet with both of you at the field to get in some airtime.

Best airplane I have ever owned!

      Hello Rocco,

Wanted to send you a quick note to say how much I am enjoying my new QB Extra 260 75cc. The assembly of this kit was just as advertised QUICK! and spot on. My ship was in the air in no time at all, I can't believe how good this plane makes me look, it was thought out quite well Thank You For That!

I powered her with my trusty 3W 85ix CS, CG came out perfect with the way I laid my electronics out. First flight Oh My God ONLY 1 click of right ail trim and she flew like an arrow. This plane fly's very light and very predictable, Landings are a breeze, you have to work at making this ship look bad in the air. Thanks for making the color choices available I like the way the Purple presents in the air and on the ground. Here a few pictures of my ship, Keep up the Great work on your Products and Customer Service that is 2nd to None.

      Hi Mark and Aeroworks Gang,

Wanted to say thank you for an AWSOME flying plane. The 50cc Extra 260 QB was my 1st gas plane, after flying a trainer for too long this plane was much easier to fly.

      Hi Rocco,

My .60-.90 Yak54 is the best ARF I have ever put together....Great engineering, quality and totally usable hardware, excellent instructions and superb finish. With an OS91FX it fly's beyond my current skills. First three flights were great and only required two clicks of trim. I will purchase more of your great aircraft.

      Hi Rocco,

I fly IMAC for more than 4 years, and I fly full scale for more than 20 years. Since I bought the Extra 260 150cc QB from you I only have one word. THANK YOU!

I won various trophies and only with your plane. With other brands of ARF’s I was always touching and correcting the lines. With your Extra 260 that I am flying. It is the most perfect plane I have ever flown, it acts as the real one. The lines are really good and the plane is well designed. It flies like planes 2 or 3 times more expensive and give you the same results. Please see the pictures and trophies, they speak for themselves.

I am a pilot of an Extra 300 full scale. As you can see on the pictures and your 150cc Extra 260 QB flies exactly as the real one. I can tell you that with absolute confidence. Great design!

A Perfect Plane!

      Hi Aeroworks,

I have been flying my 35% AeroWorks Extra 260 for about 2-1/2 to 3 years now and it flies great. I just recovered it as I wanted a different paint scheme. It's just like I have a new model now. During the re-covering I had a chance to view the workmanship of the construction without the covering. It is excellent, and I would recommend AeroWorks to anyone. There is no need to pay anyone to build a model because you can't get any better than this.

I would recommend AeroWorks to anyone!

      Hi Mark and Aeroworks Gang,

I purchased My 100cc Yak QB 54 about a year ago from the moment I opened the box I was very Impressed!
She went together smooth as glass it was just a really cool experience building this airplane. Man when it came to that first flight WOW! Felt and flew like a dream No Problems. A few trim adjustments and a little mix here and there and she was perfect! I spent the next year logging many wonderful flights, But one day I noticed I had some cracking on top of the wings right were the wing tube goes into the wing (both Sides) As an F-22 Raptor Mechanic here at Nellis 20 years. I have seen stress cracks and know what can happen. I promptly called Mark at Aero-works to get his opinion. I sent him a complete set of pictures and called him we spent just a few minutes on the phone.......Mark stopped me and said let's not take any chances I will send out a Brand new set of wings for you! Wow Now here is a company that stands behind their product! With Five Star Customer Service!

      Hey Aeroworks,

I just finished my Edge 540T .46-.61 and did the maiden flight this Morning. I just wanted to say thanks for making such a great ARF. Its tracking is superb, going where you point it and easy to assemble. I just wish it had the plug in wings, but that's minor. I put an OS .55 AX and it has great power, plenty for me to practice beginner IMAC.

Thanks for making such a great ARF!

      Hello,

I recently purchased, built and flew your Aeroworks .46-.61 Edge 540T. It was the easiest plane to build and so quick to trim out on it's maiden voyage. One of my fellow pilots was so impressed with the quality of construction and the ease to trim out, that he ordered one as soon as he got home. You certainly have a winning product. I now plan to purchase a plane from your 35cc line of models.

      Hi Chuck and Aeroworks Gang,

Hi chuck here are some pictures of our planes the young bloke in the photos is my nephew who owns the red extra. He is number one in Australia in basic in his first year of competition, he has now gone up to sportsman for the 2009 season and if his first few flights of the sequence are anything to go by he should do very well at that as well. The photo of the sticker “kooldog models & Hobby’s” is what we are going to call our business.

All together we have five Aeroworks QB’s 50cc extra 260, two of the 100cc extra 260’s, a 50cc Pitts python, and a 50cc ultimate. Love them All!

Just a quick thank you for producing such a fine model. There are 2 in the UK with the same graphics, my father flying the other. They are both powered with a DL50 engine fitted with a canister.       Aeroworks Gang,

I just want to send you a note on the great aircraft Aeroworks is providing. I recently purchased 3 aircraft from you: .46-.61 Edge 540T - Powered by OS .61 2 stroke, .90-1.20 Yak QB - Powered by Zenoah G26 and 35CC Extra 300 QB - Powered by OS BGX-1 3500
I was impressed from the moment I opened the boxes of each one. QB's were a snap to get ready to fly. I noticed quality at every point and for once did not have to replace any hardware that came with an ARF QB. Once assembly was completed it was off to the field. They were the smoothest and easiest maiden flights I have ever had. A few clicks of trim and they were all 3 capable of easily performing IMAC maneuvers easily. The 50CC Pitts Python is next on my list. Wish you had a 1.20 size Bipe as I have a Saito 1.20 sitting around that needs an airframe.
Aeroworks will be my main consideration when I am looking for an airframe, especially when it comes time for new airframes for my DA50 and 100. Thanks for providing a great quality product.

I was impressed from the moment I opened the boxes!

      Hello Aeroworks and Rocco,

I've purchased four planes from Aeroworks so far (two of which have yet to arrive). The Edge 540t was my second one and I am greatly impressed with this ARF. I'm going to be flying this plane in the Basic class of my first IMAC competition this weekend, and I'm confident the 540t will do everything required for me to have a great time. I will doubtless be telling everyone I meet there how much I like the quality of Aeroworks ARF's, The ease of ordering from your website, coupled with Aerowork's fantastic customer service and the great hardware sets that come with the planes make Aeroworks my number one choice for my RC aircraft.

I've only been flying RC planes for six months, so I have the rates dialed way back so I don't get into trouble in the air. High rates on this plane allow it to do anything it's big brothers can do, but it fly’s smoothly and precisely enough on low rates for me to handle IMAC maneuvers without getting into an 'Uh Oh' situation.

I purchased a second 540t as a gift for my friend Alex who built and trimmed mine. He's been flying over 25 years, mainly fly’s 35-40% scale aerobatic planes. He really likes my 540t and kept telling me that he wanted to get one for himself and put his newly purchased YS .91 in it. Alex of course, uses a lot higher rates on his setups than I do, and pushes my 540t to the limits of it's flight envelope. Someday I hope to be able to fly half that well.

Attached find some stills, and also check out my You Tube video of the Edge 540t in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN5Ed1FhIcM

Quality, Ease of Ordering and Fantastic Customer Service!

      Dear Aeroworks crew,

I felt compelled to write this letter and let everyone at Aeroworks know how much I love my 100cc Yak! After having done an extensive amount of research online, with fellow flyers, and at local hobby shops I chose the Aeroworks 100cc Yak only to find out that you guys are 5 minutes from my home. I now own 3 Aeroworks models and I love them all! Every time I visit your shop I go home with a smile on my face giddy with the thought of which Aeroworks will be next inline to add to my collection. Being relatively new to the hobby (just over a year) and given that I travel for a living it is important to me that I spend as little time building and as much time flying as possible. Your QB line of models and just as importantly, the entire Aeroworks staff, has been instrumental in making it possible for me to get into the air as quick as possible and with 100% confidence in my aircraft. Speaking of flying, the 100cc Yak is a true pleasure to fly and will do anything thing that you ask of it with ease and grace. Being a relatively new pilot I can attest to its very accurate and predictable flight characteristics. That being said, as my skills have advanced into 3D the Yak makes me look like I've been flying for years! It performs amazingly smooth and stable in low speed high alpha maneuvers. I honestly just can't say enough about how well this plane performs in the air. I am supremely confident that I made the right choice for my entry into both giant scale and 3D with the Aeroworks Yak! Furthermore, I look forward to adding many more Aeroworks models to my collection.

I Love my 100cc Yak 54 QB…. Keep'em coming guys!

      Hello Aeroworks,

I wanted to thank you guys for making an awesome plane. My .90-1.20 Yak-54 is the highest quality plane I have had the pleasure of “building” and flying. After more than a year of flying this, it still looks new. The “build” should be called more like an assembly because this plane went together like nothing. It is definitely very fun to put together. The addition of the carbon fiber wing and stab tubes are a great addition that make the plane stand out from other competitors. The quality of the hardware is top notch. I could not believe the covering was tight as a drum out of the box. The fit and finish of all parts was perfect. When the plane gets in the air, it flies very smoothly. Lines are easily drawn in the sky and the Yak’s profile makes it perfect for slow flight 3D aerobatics. Inverted requires only a touch of down elevator with the C.G. set at the recommended position. The airframe coupled with the Saito 1.80 provides unlimited aerobatic potential. Almost every time I get out to the field, I get comments on how nice the plane is and how well built it is. The Yak was the perfect step up for me into aerobatics. I don’t see why the Yak could not make the perfect third plane for someone after a low-wing trainer. Your customer service is another factor that makes Aero Works stand out from the rest. I am looking forward to buying more Aero Works planes.

The highest quality plane I have had the pleasure of “building” and flying!

      Hello Rocco,

I have put 4 gallons of fuel through my new 75cc Extra 260 QB and am getting more acquainted with it and am enjoying it allot!

I began modeling in my early 40s High performance sport planes were my choice. I began flying competition Fun Fly’s. in 1985….NCFFA….NATIONAL COMPETITION FUN FLY ASSOCIATION….9 National wins out of 15 attempts

I am a scratch builder from early on.... (lighter is better)….I concentrated on strong reliable construction The QB is the answer! The QB series is eliminating scratch builders...THE HARDWARE PACKAGE IS GREAT a good fast easy way to get in the air.

I flew the 75 cc Extra 260 QB with DA–85, Slim-line Pitts style muffler. (HAL JENNINGS) and I are sold ... high performance with great slow and fast flight characteristics. This would be the plane to suit my flying style.... 3-D and Precision..... Fun to fly... This plane makes pilot errors easy to correct.... and is very predictable.

The 75cc Extra 260 QB with DA-85. Make me proud to be a part of the Aeroworks pilot program and having fun....

A strong high performance package that is a blast to fly and easy to transport and assemble.

      Rocco and the AW Team,

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the tireless days and nights you and the team dedicate to producing world class products. I'm sure many out there, including myself, take for granted how much effort is involved in running a similar business. In today's competitive business market, no matter what you produce and sell, it is challenging to offer a product or service at a reasonable price without sacrificing quality. Plus, taking the time to connect with the customer. Aeroworks has overcome these challenges to offer superior quality products at a competitive price. Plus, taking care of the customer. It is refreshing to find a company that is so passionate about their products and is truly concerned about customer satisfaction. The passion that we all have for this hobby is definitely echoed by the Aeroworks team and their business philosophy.

I have been lucky to be able to fly with a few of the Aeroworks guys and they have really helped me along the way with these giant scale aircraft. There is a lot that goes into them and I really appreciate the support that they offer, day in and day out. I know that if I need something, they will be there willing to help. Keep up the great work! Our hobby needs you!

New innovations and attention to detail brings the fun back into building again. This 150cc Yak 54 QB series ARF is a true "All In One" package.
Usable hardware, precision cut parts, carbon fiber accessories and a well thought out manual couldn't make it any easier.
Flight characteristics - sharp, crisp and axial movements for smooth precision work. Yet, the plane also provides excellent stall behavior, light wing loading and good predictability for 3D and freestyle with out the drag.

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks Gang,

The new Aeroworks 150 cc Yak 54 QB is a truly a remarkable airplane. The innovations Rocco has incorporated, the cam lock cowling, the unique and strong way the main landing gear attaches and many other features make this bird STATE OF THE ART. As is usual with the QB series the build is fast and easy. The fit and finish is perfect. I was amazed at how well this airplane performed rolling maneuvers, it is very axial, and this airplane really will do anything the pilot is capable of

      Hey guy’s,

I just wanted to take some time to tell you how much I’m enjoying the 150cc Yak 54 QB. First off, it’s the best quality in an ARF that I’ve ever laid eye’s on. Everything just fits! There was no time spent re-working wing roots or changing incidence angles. Everything came out perfect. I had mine built and the maiden flight on it in less than a week. All of the templates were a great help and the instruction book is awesome. I outfitted mine with the DA 150 on stock mufflers, swinging a Vess 32-A prop. I have the Smart-fly EQ 10 and a JR 921 Spectrum receiver. GT Graphics did all the graphics and they look great. I don’t have a scale to weigh it with yet but it has plenty of power, and rockets out of a torque roll like a profile plane and floats in on landings. I went with single 8711’s on the elevators and two on the rudder. I have three 8411’s on each aileron but plan to drop that down to two 8711’s soon. It’s easy to see that this airplane is a great platform for Precision or 3-D flight. It handles both very well and just goes to show that there was a great deal of thought put into the design of this aircraft. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

      Hello Aeroworks Gang,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you guys for another outstanding airplane. I maiden my 75cc Extra 260 QB today and it was out of sight! I felt right at home on the second flight. It was hard to hold back wanting to start 3D’ing even on the second flight considering how easy this one is to fly. You guys do an excellent job designing airplanes. My Extra came in at 22.8lbs and even with the DA running sloppy, it has the power to weight that I have been looking for all this time. Can’t wait to get through the break-in and open it up. Thank you very much. You can tell by my expression of what I think of this airplane….. That’s the confident, “finally” seal of approval. This one will take me to the next level of my flying career. As big as this guy is, it has a light “small” airplane feel but with the stability of a giant scale. Thanks again guys, great job to all of you at Aeroworks.

      Hey Rocco,

I am really enjoying my Aeroworks 42% Extra 260 QB. This is a GREAT flying airplane! The airplane requires almost no mixing and fly’s very light. The QB series is the best ARF series on the market today. A friend of mine recently bought one of your competitors ARF's in the 42% category like mine. After taking 3 times as long as he thought it was going to take him to finish it and get it flying he was really wishing he had gotten an Aeroworks. So, for all of you out there trying to decide between an Aeroworks plane or some other ARF do yourself a favor, buy the Aeroworks!!!! You will be very glad you did! This plane 3D's like nobody's business and is an excellent pattern flyer also. The best of both worlds!!!

Thanks for a great product guys! Hope you like my trim scheme addition.

      Hello Chuck and Aeroworks Gang,

I wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how much I like my .40 – .60 Edge 540T. The kit is high quality, with very good instructions. Assembly was a complete joy, with all parts fitting without sanding. I chose a Pitts style muffler and remounted the engine horizontally, which leaves the cowl more intact than the stock muffler. The hardware in the kit is very good.
This thing flies like it's on rails. It knife edges down the flight line with ease, spins, snap rolls on a dime and slows perfectly for landing. I used an O.S. Max 75AX which provides unlimited vertical performance at sea level.
Thanks again for providing such a high quality ARF at a very reasonable price. I'm sure you will be selling more of these in my region due to the feedback I have received at the flying field!

      Hi Guys,

I finally got the weather to test fly my 50cc Pitts Python tonight. It went well and flew brilliantly. The CG as stated feels a little too far forward for my preferred extreme 3D type feel, but is a perfect starting point for anyone not so confident and ideal for smooth F3A type maneuvers. It is VERY easy to hold into prop hang and is not nervous on throttle or aileron it just hovers there for as long as you like.
It will need a little up elevator to rudder mixing on the knife edge, but very little if any opposite aileron mix.
Roll rate is as much as you could ever want. Stall turns are very crisp. Flat spins both upright and inverted are VERY flat and controllable if you straighten it all out with a little bit of opposite aileron to initially get it flat. With my CG where it is, you really need to come out of the flat spin downwards. Full elevator (45degrees) up the way isn't enough to push it out over the top, but this is easily cured by either a bit more elevator as a compromise or ideally with the cg a little further aft.
The model presents very well in the air and looks "Big" for a 50cc plane. Power with the DA 50 on a standard Slimline exhaust is ample and plenty to pull out of anything with authority. I really am going to love this model!
Well done in producing it. It inspires confidence and should be considered by anyone looking for a good 3D model that can land in a small area. There is absolutely no tendency for it to drop a wing no matter what you do. A brilliant model! The pics attached here are awesome, taken by my mate Richard Copeland with a very good camera. Check out "Moon Shot" with the model hovering alongside the moon!

A brilliant model!

      Hi Guys,

I just had to write you to tell how impressed I am with this 50cc Yak 54 QB ARF. I ordered it at the AMA show in January, after looking at all the other IMAC 50cc planes. Your construction is heads above any other Mfg. and the hardware is first class. When I starting opening the box's and found the plywood between the inner and outer box insuring that it would take the handling of the UPS driver. Thanks again for the very hi quality plane. You can be assured that I will tell everyone who asks me about the plane how impressed I am. The plane flies great and I will fly it at the Bakersfield IMAC in March. The picture was taken at my home field at Whittier Narrows South El Monte Calif. the day of its first flight.

Thanks again for the great Kit!

      Hello Aeroworks!

Here is a picture of Tal, my 10 year olds 50cc EXTRA 260 QB. This plane was a pleasure to build, and the quality is unsurpassed. We flew our maiden flight on 2/3/08 and we were happy with how this plane few straight out of the manual. The plane took one click up and one click right to maintain level flight. This plane is indeed 100% easy to build and fly. For you new guys the manual is the best I have seen and a snap to follow. Rocco and Kim thanks for taking the time to talk to my son at the AMA Convention. That meant a lot to him! Chuck thanks for putting up with me on the phone and always being there to answer questions.

      Hey Rocco!

Do to a mechanical failure at an IMAC contest I was not able to fly my own personal plane, thankfully there was several people offering their planes for me to fly. One of the planes that caught my eye was the new Aeroworks 150cc Yak 54. Now, I knew this was the latest design plane from Aeroworks and I really wanted to fly this to see for myself if this plane flew as well as it looked. I had about 3 minutes on the ground to see the rates and learn the switch positions. The first round of the contest was made with a plane that I never flew or seen flown. I am so happy I made the decision to fly the Yak. I ended up not only winning the round, I won the contest! The Aeroworks 40% Yak 54 is a winner! The plane flew with ZERO mixing. You can't ask for anything better than that. Rolling circles, snaps, knife edge, they were all perfect.
Nice job Rocco and Aeroworks Gang!

      Hello Rocco, Kim and Staff!

I was just looking over your testimonials page and realized that I haven't sent my thanks. I have known Aeroworks as a top-level competition aerobatic aircraft company since the early 90's. I was finally able to be the proud owner of your very first introduction of the QB line - the 35% Extra 260. Having had experience with other ARF's over the years. I knew you guys were on to something when I opened the box! The fit, finish, construction, and covering quality were at a level above the rest! I have had it with gas power as well as electric power. We all know how well it flies on gas, but it was a real showstopper as an electric! The plane is approaching 3 years old and still looks like new. While I don't have pics of all my Aeroworks planes purchased since then, I have owned the 46-61 Edge 540T, the Sukhoi and Extra 260 profiles, and the 90-120 Yak QB (also electric with over 2,000watts of power and only 10 pounds!). I also had the 75cc QB 260. It was an outstanding, hardcore 3D performer for the short 10 flights it lasted – (unfortunately, it was lost due to a flameout at low altitude) I have been flying for over 20 years and have had many different aircraft from many different manufacturers. Nowadays, you have made my choice simple - when it comes to price, performance, completeness, and quality, Aeroworks is hard to beat, period!

Thanks for your dedication to excellence!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks Gang!

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how much I am in love with my new 40% QB Yak. I have always known that the QB line was a step ahead of the industry, but you have gone way above and beyond on this plane. As you know, I took delivery of this plane from you on the Sunday of the AMA Convention in Ontario, CA. Myself and one of my buddies were able to get the plane built that Tuesday and have it ready to maiden Wednesday morning. Unfortunately we were blown out on Wednesday and were not able to fly. We got one flight on the plane Thursday and then it was off to Phoenix Friday morning for the first contest of the year. I placed 5th at that contest and now with only 3 practice flights I placed second at the most recent event in Sand Diego. Everyone has commented on how great the plane flies as well as how awesome it looks in the air and up close. Great job on the new plane. I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future to beat this one.

QB's are a step above the rest!

      Hello Aeroworks!

My name is Rusty Fried of Phoenix, Az. This is my Aeroworks Extra 260 QB 35% with a DA100.
I have been flying competition pattern for 35 years. This is my first real entrée into IMAC flying. I have competed in two IMAC contests so for. The first contest was the SW championships and placed 3rd, then I flew last weekend in the IMAC Superstition Challenge and placed 1st.

I owe it all to my QB 260!
It was very easy to assemble and easier to trim.

      Hello Rocco and Staff,
Wow, this is a true performer. You ask it delivers!!! This is my favorite place to fly, my yard...
The Aeroworks Extra 260 EP-3D blurs the line between foam and wood. I even feel more comfortable with my Extra 260 than I do most foamies. I’m usually not flying it too high. It’s very stable and predictable. I’m shocked how well a it handles itself in the wind. There isn’t much about this plane you won’t like. It has quickly become one of my favorites. Aeroworks has a proven winner here... Torque rolls, harrier rolls, high alpha, flat spins hovers and a tail touching monster, it takes all I can throw at it and more! Great 3-D trainer, quickly improving anyone’s 3-D ability.

My favorite plane!

      Dear Rocco and Aeroworks Staff,
I have enclosed a picture of my 50cc Extra 260 QB, and once again I must commend Aeroworks for a great Airplane. I have flown it several times now and have changed the center of gravity making it a perfect flyer. It builds very fast and is built very light as well. I have found it to be very stable in the harrier but, also a real precision type Aircraft. Every time a get a new Airplane from you guys, I see how you strive for perfection always making improvements to an already perfect design. What really impressed me were all the lighting holes in the structure but no sacrifice for strength.

Your Airplanes are truly the best!

      Aeroworks Team,
Just want to let you know what a terrific job you guys did on the 50cc yak54 QB. I love the airplane and only have good things to tell people at the field. You must have a kick-ass R&D department.
We started the build Saturday afternoon and was flying the next morning. The plane flies very well, looks good and lands like a baby. The plane Dis-assembles easily too, which is nice for me because my job requires me to travel a lot and live out of a hotel. I take this airplane everywhere!

      Gentlemen,
I purchased an Edge 540T .46/.61 ARF from you and I must tell you it is one of the best planes I have flown. I used an Evolution 1.00NT as the engine of choice and I must say it has power to spare. I installed four (4) Hitec HS-5645MG High-Torque 2BB Metal Gear Servos for the ailerons, elevator and rudder and one standard servo for the throttle. Using a Futaba radio and a 6 Volt power source, the completed plane weighed in at 7 pounds 2 ounces. That made the wing load only 23.7 oz./sq. in. With that low of a wing load, the plane is a joy to fly in low, high or 3D rates. It gets your heart pumping early in the morning and it also looks great in flight.

The plane is one of the best ARF's I have assembled. The quality, fit and finish is second to none. The courteous service from your staff was also great and much appreciated.

I fly a lot of gas models but I keep coming back to this model but in the future, I will definitely be back when purchasing my next gas model.

Thanks Again and keep up the good work!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks Gang,
I purchased one of your 75CC Yaks (ARF) QB recently and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the high quality of this model. It is my first Aeroworks kit and it is by far the best model I’ve come across. It was high quality and flew flawlessly (despite my average skills). I could not believe how well/stable it lands for a high performance model. I put the new DA-85 in it and it literally leaps into the air.
PS. I can’t wait for the 50cc Python to arrive.

Thanks for a great product!

      Hello Aeroworks Gang,
CONGRATULATIONS ON A TERRIFIC "ELECTRIC BY DESIGN" MODEL; THE STING RAY

Within minutes of opening the box, my new Sting Ray was dry assembled (there aren't many parts; truly, most of the work is done). The fit and finish far exceeded my expectations, this being my 21st airplane and the first from AeroWorks. The real assembly began on the morning of day 2, and preceded intuitively and methodically, no GOTCHA's at all. By noon "RAY" was almost complete, needing only to install the landing gear, and tweak the control surfaces (decals always come last).
Our flying field is a 150 acre sod farm, frequently cut, but deep grass. Nose overs on take-off and landing are common. "Ray's" landing gear as designed would not work, but the fix was obvious, simply reverse the arms; which then angles the wheels forward (SEE PHOTO); add some 3" wheels (Big Boy Size) and presto we are ready to taxi. Day 3, with the decals in place; I motored on down to the flying field and observed my first GOTCHA, the old North wind was blowing our flag off the staff and occasionally flapping, not a good morning for a first flight but great for passing Ray around for comment from my liquid fuel buddies, (I'm new to RC and so far the only "all electric" with the biggest plane weighing in at 11 lbs). I have never received more favorable comments on any of the 20 previous models; but the question hung: DOES IT FLY? By noon the wind was down a bit and I had flown two of my other planes enough to get a feel for the conditions. I got RAY and put in the second battery (I had taxied the first one a bunch in the grass to shake it out), set it down for take-off, eased the throttle up and at 3/4 throttle I was airborne and climbing nicely. I got up to "Two Mistakes" high circled back into the wind and started looking for "straight and level". To my astonishment, Ray was flying "straight and level" NO TRIM NEEDED".......a FIRST. I went on to try loops, rolls, verticals, stalls; switched the DR to hi rate and went nuts. Suddenly it dawned on me that this was not good for a first flight and that there was still enough wind to cause trouble on landing. I took Ray down wind and made the final turn for the up wind landing. The descent was long, straight and the touchdown was easy, no nose over !! With a hard left rudder and half throttle I taxied back to the pit and as I bent down to disconnect the battery, I think I heard laughter coming from the plane. This is one happy airplane .... and one happy new pilot. That's not all. A check of the battery showed that I had used less than half the charge. So, I flew again. YEEE HA !!

Many thanks to the design team that got it right including: a battery compartment that is accessible; and in the right place to hit the CG on the numbers, the one bolt removable wing, the greatest flying performance. Many thanks also to the Folks who built this plane with neat graphics and no wrinkles !!

FLYING SPECS: 1430 Kv MOTOR, 32A max, 400 Watts (PEAK INPUT); 36 Amp ESC; MA1060 ELECTRIC PROP; 3S-2200mAh LiPo BATTERY

      Dear Aeroworks,
Just got my .90 - 1.20 Yak in the air yesterday, OS 1.20 with Brisson muffler, APC 15-10 propeller, 10 lbs. 1 oz and it is a truly wonderful precision aerobat! I put my C.G. 3/8 behind your recommended starting position, and I got lucky for the first flight, as this was perfect. Up and down lines were dead straight, the thrust line was right on, rolls and point rolls were a piece of cake. Vertical was endless - and this was a new engine running rich.
This lady would be excellent for pattern and IMAC competition.
The fit on this kit is also amazing. Every bolt went right in and the wing tube would actually slide into the fuselage tube and wings without cursing and sanding!! The fit between the wing halves and the fuselage is perfect!
I have flown one of your famous competitor's Yaks, too, his requiring more work to assemble. His flew great, and your fly’s just as well.

Fit on this kit is Amazing!

      Dear Aeroworks Staff,
It was a pleasure meeting your staff at the Toledo Weak Signal Show. The Aeroworks Staff is very professional and courteous.
I have an Aeroworks 50cc YAK-54 QB. This is the very first plane that I actually used the entire hardware package; the hardware package is top shelf and very high quality. The plane assembled very easily. No drilling of holes was necessary to mount any of the hardware even the cowling was predrilled and lined up perfectly. The covering was very professionally applied and required no additional shrinkage. The drill guide for the DA-50 matched perfectly and thus the engine and cowling required no adjustments for a proper fit.>br> The real joy happened at the flying field. The Aeroworks 50cc Yak-54 is the best airplane I have ever flown. It tracks straight and true and flies like a champion. During my third day of flying the Yak-54 a fellow flyer that competes in IMAC asked me if I was going to compete this year. I asked him why. He said that my maneuvers were very good and that I should compete. I told him that I have never competed before. I thought to myself, “This plane is Awesome”. I replied I might just do that.
I have recommended Aeroworks to other flyers of whom I fly with and also other who I met for the first time at the Toledo Weak Signal Show.

I cannot wait for the Pitts Python to be released.
Thank you very much,

Best Airplane I have ever flown!

Dear Rocco and the Aeroworks Team,
I started building planes from kits again because I was disappointed with the quality of ARF's from some of the leading manufactures. I thought no one could build a plane as well as I can until I opened the box of my QB Extra 260 50cc. The attention to detail, fit and finish along with excellent instructions make this kit a, "Must have!" On top of all that she flies beautifully! I'm glad you suggested I should try one of your kits. My daughter has started flying this year and has informed me her goal is to take over the 260. I told her, "It's yours when your ready!" and I named the plane after her.
I used 3 fueling caps on the side of the plane. The first for fuel, it's larger and silver. The middle is copper and is drilled out and tapped which allows me to attach a nyrod for the choke. The last is copper and used for smoke juice.
The Epsilon 40 I purchased from you and built turned out nice. I really appreciate the customer service and help on the landing gear issue. Your trading partner was outstanding in making me a set of carbon fiber landing gear.

No matter how nice the product is, it isn't any good without good customer service and support, your product and customer service is excellent!

      Hello Rocco and Aeroworks staff,
I succeeded in importing a Aeroworks Yak 54 50cc QB. Probably it is the first Yak flying in Germany. What shall I say, It is the best ARF-kit, I have ever seen. During assembly you feel, that it has been designed by a modeler, nothing had to be changed from my point of view. Also the included hardware is absolutely feasible. The flight qualities are great, very easy to handle. The pilot is the limit. A real worldclass aircraft.

Thanks for this wonderful plane!

      Rocco and staff,
Just wanted to let you know I have just over 100 flights on this 42% 260. I've been flying in advanced class all year, and I wanted to say that this is an extremely smooth flying airplane and it tracks very well. Snaps are very clean and crisp. Rolls on up and down lines are effortless. I finished second at the Canadian Nationals and several top three placements throughout the year with this plane. Powered by DA150 with MTW canisters with Futaba guidance and Duralite batteries. Very good quality airplane!

Over 100 Flights!

      Rocco and Aeroworks,
I purchased your .90 -1.20 Yak 54 ARF-QB Quick Build and I'm running an OS 120AX with an APC 17X6 prop. I am a slow builder but with the QB series I was able to get the plane together and in the air in one week. The CD manual that was provider was very complete and thorough with a lot of pic's so it left a lot of the guess work out. This plane lands so well that you could probably land it on a bed of eggs! I am very pleased with this plane and the OS 120AX powers this plane like it was meant for it. The quality and flight performance of the YAK 54 QB is top of the line in my book. Thanks for providing such a fine ARF.

      Rocco and Gang,
Here are some pictures of my AW 35% Extra 260 ARC that I purchased from you guys a few weeks back. All I can say is "WOW"! Guys (and gals) you build an awesome airplane. I bought your ARC version of the 260 for the simple fact I wanted to see the plane "in the bones" before it was covered. Well I have to say I love your build quality. I covered the plane in pure white Monokote with Red, White and Blue Stripes on the underside, and then as you can see I applied a custom graphics package from Cutting Edge Graphics on the topside. Here is what she is equipped with...
DA 100 on KS Canisters
JR8711's on the rudder
JR 8611's everywhere else
Fromeco 5200 mah batteries on the main
Fromeco 2600 mah battery on ignition
Emcotec DPSI system
Powerbox Smoke pump
All up weight is 28.2 pounds...

Thanks guys for building such a high quality aircraft!

      To the staff at AeroWorks,
Just wanted to tell you that in my opinion these RC Aircraft Models are the best on the market. The workmanship is truly World Class. Some of the features of the model are as follows; The hardware included is the best quality and precision found in any kit on the market. Every thing you need is included in the box, right down to the last nuts and bolts. Extra covering for minor repairs. Many pre-installed and drilled parts, all done for you and they just fit with exactness. Every detail is accounted for in the super manual, down loadable so you can get a head start before the aircraft arrives on your door step. I have been flying gas RC models since 1980, and have scratch built many of them. With the quick build series, you will get into the air much sooner. The biggest feature is how they fly, like they were on a string, and very stable in all precision aerobatic's and 3D. Balance and weight always fall with in the specs. They fly like on a rail. My 97" YAK 54 flew with out any trim the very first time, only had to adjust the CG forward from where I started. My 85" Extra 260 With a ZDZ 50NG, with canister fly's the IMAC sequences with authority and very stable. If you truly want a World Class Aircraft, then you need to talk to the folks at Aero-Works or visit they super website.

World Class Workmanship!

Your Edge 540 is a great plane. The kit went together quick and easy. I am using a DA-50 for the power plant, Hitec HS-5955 for the rudder and Hitec HS-5625MG for the Elevators and the Ailerons. I’ve only got a couple of flight on it but it flies great! I’m not much of a 3D flier but I feel this is the plane to learn on.

      Dear Aeroworks!
As a professional aviator, lifelong modeler, and model reviewer for a major RC magazine, I’ve assembled/built close to 100 models. In my 25 years of modeling, I haven’t seen any that come close to the quality of the Aeroworks QB line. I’m currently flying the QB 50cc Extra, QB 75cc Yak, and the QB 150cc Extra, but have also assembled the electric Sukhoi and Stingray pattern model. In each case, the models are incredibly easy to assemble and extremely well thought out. Over the years, I’ve built several giant-scale model kits, and to be honest, my work doesn’t compare to that offered by the Aeroworks QB line of airplanes. In the case of the 50cc Extra and 75cc Yak, each was ready to fly in less than 10 hours! Simply incredible! Best of all, however, is the way they fly, straight and light right out of the box. Going forward, I’ll always think of Aeroworks first.

Simply incredible!

      Dear Rocco!
Now that I have built and flown the 50cc, 100cc, and the 150cc EXTRA 260 Aeroworks QB ARF’s , I can say without a doubt these are the very best ARF kits on the market. The fit and finish compare favorably with the best professionally built kits I have owned. The hardware package is very complete (nothing else to buy). Now for the best part, these airplanes fly very light and need very little mixing. If you prefer IMAC, these airplanes will do any maneuver in the book. But, if like me, you like 3-Ding, just kick up the throws and go for it. I consider myself very lucky to be associated with a quality company like Aeroworks.

Thanks for the great airplanes!

      Hi Rocco!
I flew the 100cc Yak 54 QB today. Awesome!!! It is on rails. I thought when I got the Extra 260 QB, that I finally had a great airplane. I still do. But the Yak is in a class by itself. Perfect solid track loops. 45 degree upline roll inverted with no change in the flight path. Pull to vertical is as straight as an arrow. Spins stop on a dime. Like right now. Knife edge is without mixing nothing. Snaps are completed with ease and are as crisp as can be. I wish I were a better pilot to provide a better flight description. I think this is the best I have ever had. When will the 40% come out. Never had one that big. But I will find a way to get one.

In a class by itself. PERFECT!

      Dear Rocco,
I have had the pleasure of flying your Stearman, Su-31 electric, BD5,Edge 540T 46, and the Stingray. My friends and I have been amazed at the quality and value of the kits, ease of assembly and outstanding flying qualities. I have had fun with all of them, and all of them have provided many hours of enjoyment. Keep up the good work, and thank you for bringing these to the modeling community.

Amazed at the quality and value of the kits!

      Dear Aeroworks,
I must tell you that I finally test flew my new 50 cc, Yak 54 QB, and it flew just great! It needed no trim adjustments, WOW what a great flying Airplane. It is now my favorite the best one in my fleet. I tried several maneuvers and found my Yak to be the best in all positions. Did some spins, rolls, knife edge flight, and all required no corrections. Mine came out a little nose heavy but still lands like a feather really amazing. You guys have a great design and a wonderful flying Airplane, something to be very proud of. Thanks for a great design and a beautiful Airplane.

My favorite and best plane in my fleet

      Dear Aeroworks,
Finished and flew my 100CC Yak 54 QB. It is by far one of the best quality planes I have ever assembled. It was a joy to work on this plane, and it flies great! I have assembled a few composites and by far this was so much easier to work on. The QB stands for Quick Build - but it could easily stand for Quality Built.

Easier and Faster to build then my composites!

      Dear Rocco,
The Aeroworks 100cc Extra 260 QB is something to behold. From the first time I saw the airplane I just had to have one. It is a thing of beauty. A work of art! This kit is all inclusive. You get everything and it is of the highest quality. All in all this is the best that I have ever assembled.
I have posted a build review on RCU. Thank you for a wonderful kit!

      Hello,
Here are the pictures of my beautiful 75cc Yak 54 QB. When I saw the Yak 54 on your site, I loved it! It was the most beautiful plane I have ever seen. And I buy it! The Kit quality was excellent. And when I flown the Yak 54, I was very happy. I have flown many planes but I have never flown one as good as this plane. The Yak 54 does anything you ask and does it perfectly. I love this plane!

It’s the best plane I have ever owned. I love it!

      Dear Aeroworks,
This plane is totally kick ass. She is my 1st. straight wing plane, and I was worried about the landings. But she just floats in like a kite. I'm not a 3D guy, but I like it some. This plane is my hot rod. With an O.S. 1.20 2 stk. and custom dual header pipes. she flies fast, on a rail and is loud, bad ass loud! Real nice hot rod. I included some pictures. Looking for a video recorder to take some awesome vids. Again, Thanks for the great model. Let me know if you guys come out with a bigger one.

Thanks for the great model!

      Rocco,
The finest IMAC plane I have flown. I am a stickler about coupling. When I use rudder, I’m not looking for roll or pitch, just yaw. The plane flies unmixed, but with just trims in the 1, 2 and 3% range, it’s on rails.

The finest IMAC plane I have flown!

      Hello Aeroworks
My name is Bruce and I have to tell you about my 75cc Yak. The kit quality was excellent and hardware was nicely thought out. My airplane is stock with the exception of tires, axles, landing gear and spinner. I have an all up weight of 22lbs 5 oz spinning a ZDZ super 80 up front. Today was maiden flight day and all went perfect. Not one single click of trim was needed. NOT ONE SINGLE CLICK! This is my first large airplane and I could not be any happier. I am an average pilot at best but this airplane makes me look like a much better pilot than I really am. When it came time to land, all I said is WOW, this thing slows down to a crawl. By far, this is the easiest flying plane I have ever owned. If anyone you speak with is on the fence about getting a gasser or stepping up to a larger airplane, you can tell them with 100% confidence that this airplane is truly a high quality excellent handling machine! I would recommend this airplane to anyone with low wing experience. Thanks for a truly awesome product.

WOW! Truly a high quality excellent handling machine!

      Rocco, Mark and John,
I have your Extra 100 cc 260 QB what a rock solid plane. It went together very easy. I choose a 3W 106 for power, JR 9303 with 8611 all around. I used Duralite batteries and power box. I called Cal-Grafx for the cool graphics.
All I can say is Wow! And Thanks!

Very happy Customer!

      Dear Rocco and Kim,
Last Saturday I brought my 42% Extra 260 QB to the opening of the PARCC flying event in Gonzalez, Louisiana. The plane was a "Show Stopper", everybody asked me: Who makes this plane? What engine do you have here?.......It Is so beautiful!!!!! you guys got all the credit. I am so satisfied with the plane, and what I like the most is the great design of it. Congratulations on the job done on the plane and keep up the great work!

      Rocco, Mark and John,
I wanted to drop a line and tell you what a wonderful experience it was building my new 50CC QB Extra 260. I've built a lot of ARF's over the years but I have to say, I've never seen one of the quality of yours. Reviewing the interior of the fuse was such a pleasure. It's obviously lightened as much as possible without sacrificing strength. Every part fit perfectly, the carbon upgrades (Wing and stab tubes, landing gear, spinner and tail wheel) all fit great and my AUW came out at less than 16 Lbs with a DA50, Smartfly SuperReg, and twin Fromeco 2400mAh LiLo's.
Driving up to your shop and meeting you guys to make the purchase made the experience that much more exciting. I'm sure Aeroworks planes will continue to expand in my personal hanger. Keep up the great work guys! I'll be up for a Helmet Head very soon! Hope to set a flying date with you up at Chatfield sometime this spring!

Your VERY Happy Customer

      Rocco,
What a great QB Kit this is. Everything fit just as the instructions said. It is obvious that this is a quality kit with accessories that compliment the kit. The best part is flying it. It is straight and true with little or no coupling at all. I have been flying for about 10 years and this is by far the best kit of any type that I have ever assembled. You have a model that anyone would be proud to own and fly. Keep up your tradition of quality products.

Best flying and quality ever!

      Hello Rocco,
I have about 100 Flights on my 100cc Extra 260 QB and it is the best wood ARF I have ever seen or flown. I am usually a Composite plane guy and bought this plane after my Composite Yak was shot down so I could get back in the air fast. I cannot say enough good things about the ease of construction and the flight characteristics of this plane. It really went together fast and I did not have to Re-Invent or Re-Engineer anything. Every bolt lined up, incidence was right on and the cowl fit was perfect. Precision and 3D are both outstanding. I have let many people at my club fly it and everyone wants it. DA100 on MTW Cans, Carbon Gear, Carbon Wing and Stab tubes, Carbon Tail wheel, 28-10 PT Prop and Pete’s Carbon Spinner. Chip Hyde Foam Pilot head, Graphics by Cutting Edge Graphics. 5955's all the way around (2 on rudder).

Best wood ARF I have ever seen!

      Rocco,
It was good speaking with you this morning. As I mentioned go ahead and send me the 50 size Extra. If it is anything like the 100cc it can’t help but be a winner. I have attached a couple of other photos that show the plane different than my web page. Thanks for a great flying model. Now I'm sad that winter is here cause I want to go flying, it was just that much fun to fly. Thanks, Dennis

I wrote to tell you how much I enjoy the 35% 260 QB. Well I have over 500 flights on my 260 now and it is going strong. I fly it on average 20 flights a week!
The one thing about the 260 is after flying it the whole weekend, I can't wait to get out and fly it again. You should expect another email when it reaches the 1000 flight mark.

Thanks for the great Airplane!

      Rocco,
I started my 100cc Yak 54 QB Monday and it is going real well and fast. I am 73yrs. Old and have been doing this hobby for 30yrs. This plane is as good as any plane I have ever had. Will not fly it until April of 2007 because it is cold here in Ohio. If you have all of the servos and anything you need for the plane it would be easy to put together in 1 week or less. Our so call club pro looked it over and he even liked it and that is saying a lot. The plane will be done next week. I will be looking for you at the Toledo show next year.

Thanks for a perfect plane!

Here is a picture of my new Stingray. I have flown R/C since about 1979 and this was the easiest, most complete plane I have ever assembled! Everything fit, and it just took a few hours to have her in the air. I added a heavier landing gear and larger wheels, without wheelpants, as I fly from a very rough grass field on my property. I have about 20 flights on her and the rough field is no problem. I have built about 4 aerobatic electric planes this size and none of them can compete with the Stingray. It flys like a much larger model. It tracks like it is on rails, but slows down to make landings a breeze. It's my #1 plane and a real joy to fly. My aerobatic flying has really improved just by having a plane that fly’s well. The Stingray is a real winner and when I wear it out I will be placing another order.

Thanks for making a great product!

      Hey Rocco,
Here are a few pics of my 35% Extra 260 QB. It has about 270 flights on it now and is going strong! DA 100 for power, JR for control. It has MTW 75 cans and weighs 28 lbs. It is so smooth. This airplane has Carbon gear, wing and stab tubes and a carbon tail wheel. When it comes to precision there is nothing smoother. I can't wait to try the 42%!!

Keep up the great work!

Here are a few pictures of my 28% Edge 540T Builders kit. I just got it covered and the engine came last week, which I just have to mount. Man if this thing flies anywhere near as fine as my 1.20 Aeroworks Edge 540, I'll be extremely happy. Thanks a ton for making a great building kit. This thing goes together perfect, no problems whatsoever. And without a doubt your airplanes are the finest flying planes I've ever flown and I've been doing this since 1976. I've been around a lot of Edges out at the field and nothing builds or flies like this. I'll be looking forward to seeing you at the Toledo show. You sure have my business.

Thank you very much for all the support and a great product!

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how impressed I am with my 100cc QB YAK. I shopped extensively for my new IMAC platform prior to deciding on this airplane. I bet I read a couple of dozen build manuals prior to making my choice. I am not a great builder. I prefer to spend my time at the field, rather than in the shop. Still, I wanted a first class competition plane. Your Quick Build concept made this possible. I read the manual (the best in the industry) before receiving the plane. I purchased all the needed items before the kit arrived. I started my build on a Monday, working a few hours each evening; I was able to fly the following weekend. This is the first ARF I have built, that I never had to run out and buy parts for. Except for motor, and electronics, everything is included in the kit, fits right, and is of very high quality. The Aeroworks staff (John and Mark) made themselves available to help if needed. They took the time to check in with me each day to see how the build was going. The amazing thing is that the manual is so good, and everything fit so well, that I never needed them. Of course, the real test of success is how well the plane performs. Again, this YAK exceeds expectations. From the first flight, it has shown that Aeroworks knows how to engineer a great airframe. After a few weeks of flying, it is clear that this plane has no bad habits. It excels at both precision and 3-D flight. You seem to have found the perfect compromise between durability and lightweight, a difficult engineering task that many other manufacturers fail on. The finish on the plane screams quality, I am proud to own this plane, and have it in my pits at competitions.

I want to thank you and the entire Aeroworks staff for producing such a fine product.

      Hi Aeroworks,
Just wanted to let you guys know that my 50cc Extra 260 QB is just Amazing! Took me only 5 days to build and I maiden it on the 6th. While going to school (9th grade) and having basketball practice for 2 hours after school, I was still able to build this plane in less than 1 week! Just an Amazing ARF!!!! Got my friend to buy one of these to fly together at my local club. He loves his too! My dad bought this plane for me in September for my birthday gift, I couldn’t be happier with the gift. I have about 15-20 flights on it so far. I love the way this 30% Extra 260 QB flies!

Just wanted to say that you guys have done an outstanding job on your QB planes! Looks good, goes together fast and easy, and Awesome customer support!

      Aeroworks,
Got my 100cc Yak 54 QB yesterday and I have to tell you I have never seen a ARF packed so well. It took me an hour just to unload the main components. The quality of this plane is Amazing! I really am impressed with its size and quality. And of course since it is a QB series, it will be so easy to finish and get in the air.

Thanks for the wonderful service!

      Hello Aeroworks,
I truly believe that these Quick Build ARF's are the best that I have ever seen. I have built at least 25 or 30 ARF kits and bar none this 50cc Yak 54 QB is the most complete and simple to assemble that I have seen. This aircraft is built very sturdy and the cover job is flawless and it fly's as beautiful as it looks. I put a 3W 55 on mine and it will pull it out of sight in just a few seconds, my overall weight is 17lbs and it will do anything you ask and more. I only needed slight down elevator settings to get a perfect knife edge, the snap rolls are crisp and the slow rolls are sweet.

Thank you " Aeroworks" for raising the standard, you have raised the bar for others to try and match. Keep it up and thanks again.
